• To ban a player that swears in chat, use this special command: /chatban <player name> For example: /chatban MammonLord
  Make certain you spell their name correctly. It really helps to type the first few letters then press TAB to auto-complete the name.
  
  
• The Minecraft server is "Rated PG", so mild language is OK. Only ban for bad swears. If somebody says "damn it", for example, they don't need a ban. If somebody is consistently using course language warn them that bad language will not be tolerated then ban only if it continues. If somebody is being vulgar, bigoted, sexual, or threatening, ban them. If you are unsure if somebody should be banned, DO NOT BAN. Just file a rules violation report like normal and let the admins take care of it.
  
  
• THIS COMMAND IS ONLY FOR BANNING A PLAYER WHO SWEARS IN CHAT! Anybody that abuses this privilege even once will lose it forever.
  Misusing this power by banning a player as a joke or because they annoy you, killed you in PvP, scammed you, or any other non-chat related issue will not be tolerated. If you are unsure if somebody should be banned, or if you think somebody is cheating or needs to be banned for any non-chat reason, file a report!
  
  
• After banning somebody, you MUST post a report of your action here: bit.ly/admin-help
  Make your post just like any other rules violation report:
  • Take screenshots (with the F2 key on your keyboard) to collect evidence.
  • Take note of the exact time so searching the log is easier.
  • Make your reports as complete and detailed as possible.
  • If your report is validated and you are the first to report a violation, you will receive a 100 Platinum reward!
